Numeric Data List Window

The Numeric Data List Window allows you to quickly and conveniently enter, edit and review statistical and financial cash-flow data. It features a full multi-level undo operation.

You can display this window by selecting 'Statistical Data' under the 'View' main menu. Alternatively, pressing F11 toggles between showing and hiding this window.

Currently, the calculator supports up to 300 data row entries. You can enter and edit data naturally, as you would with your favourite spreadsheet application. Cells which are empty, or contain invalid numeric data, are simply ignored when performing statistical calculations or calculations involving cash-flows.

The cash-flow list, shown to the right, is visible only while the financial features of the calculator are enabled. It will be conveniently hidden if you are not using the specialized financial functions. You can change between specialized function keys by using the 'Specialized Functions' option, under the 'View' main menu.

The tool buttons down the left-hand side of the window, allow to easily:

  • 1. Import data from file as tabbed separated text,
  • 2. Export data to file as tabbed separated text,
  • 3. Cut selected cells to the clipboard (CTRL-X),
  • 4. Copy to the clipboard (CTRL-C),
  • 5. Paste from the clipboard (CTRL-V),
  • 6. Insert an empty row at the current selection,
  • 7. Remove the row data at the selected cell,
  • 8. Remove all empty, or void, cell, and represent the data,
  • 9. Clear all data in the selected list,
  • 10. Undo your last action.
